Our know-how and process diversification contribute to generating Added Value for our customers
and their products by providing valuable support in all phases of a new project/product:
Design
The process of designing a specific mechanical part is a complex activity that requires a combination of creativity, technical knowledge, and attention to detail. During this phase, collaboration with the customer or development team is essential to fully understand the needs and specifications of the particular mechanical part to be created. This includes determining dimensions, materials, tolerances, and operating conditions. A clear understanding of the requirements is essential to avoid costly modifications in subsequent phases.
Prototyping
Once the specifications are defined, the design phase begins where a three-dimensional digital model of the component is created. This model is analyzed and optimized to ensure that the part meets all functional and structural requirements. After finalizing the digital model, the physical prototype is then produced. This can be done through various production techniques, such as 3D printing, CNC machining. The prototype is then subjected to a series of tests to verify its compliance with the specifications and its functionality within the context of the final product.
Industrialization
After perfecting the prototype, actual industrial production begins. This step involves producing the specific item in large quantities, which is when the design of the mold starts and, if necessary, the various equipment needed to achieve the final product. Large-scale production also requires strict quality control to ensure that each piece meets the standards defined during the design phase.
Production
Once the design and construction of the mold and equipment are completed, the actual production begins using materials such as blanks, metal coils, or bars. In short, cold stamping is a versatile and advantageous process for the production of high-precision, high-strength metal components with high production efficiency.
